Re: Ian's TGB13 6x6 (Australia)

Gday Roobar, do you know anything about the Victorian club reg'd Volvo pictured? It has 300tdi, LT230/R380 conversion. And clearly XML's with offset/widened wheels...looks the part. image.png https://d.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1545456568830668&id=371727402870263&set=a.1485011968208462&...

Re: Fuel Pump Pressure - NDIX Carb

No worries, also a great idea IMO https://www.demon-tweeks.com/au/malpassi-filter-king-fuel-pressure-regulator-and-filter-243259/ I'd never heard of the "Filter King" pressure regulator/filter before I saw the one on my Volvo tgb1314 (fitted to all tgb's as OEM fuel filter) and I reckon th...

Re: Fuel Pump Pressure - NDIX Carb

Also I just remembered posting this thread ages ago, it was titled "zenith carb info pages" and the links in it have by far the best ndix carb information I've found...well worth a look at them if your about work on your ndix zenith. Old thread. I found the pages in the link below to be so...

Re: Fuel Pump Pressure - NDIX Carb

For the 36 NDIX I've also read that 2.5 psi is a good fuel pump pressure but also that anywhere between 2.5 and 4.5psi should work well. Flow rates for the ndix32 and 36 carbs is a good question However my Pinz and Haffy repair manuals do shed some light...well I think they do, also Jims "Goatw...

Re: Bolt Buster tool

I found a similar one a while back but it's use was even more impressive.

Naturally I found this after I spent 12 plus hours drilling out, re tapping and re seating the seized glow plugs in my 606.

Re: WTB: Brake fluid reservoir complete or caps

So Steyr used quite a few different reservoir versions over the years. My late model 712 (85) has one that is completely different to those pictured. For one the senders are mounted through the centre of the caps, like the one in the above link.

Re: WTB: Brake fluid reservoir complete or caps

Check this one out, it looks spot on but confirm its right by pt#. Same seller has a whole list of FAG/FTE brake caps and reservoirs. Vince might be able to give measurements of a G460 master cyl cap to confirm if they are the same as the pinz. http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/index.php?main_page=...

Photos don't load anymore!

I've seen at least one other post that mentioned photos not loading properly since the forum updated to this new format so I'm not the only one who's experienced this. Has anyone else experienced this? It would be great if there was a simple fix.

Re: LPG PINZSSI

The Petrol/gasoline Carbs are standard zeniths 36 ndix but I'm running the LPG carb/mixer between the air filter and a custom intake hat on top of the Zeniths with the air inlet relocated to give me a little more room to fit the LPG mixer in. At first I used an Impco mixer and converter/vapourizer, ...

Re: LPG PINZSSI

I was gonna post a pic of the tank I used, but since the forum updated to this new format it won't load photos for me, they stop loading once the "green bar" gets to 3/4 loaded? Its a really unique solution that tripled my lpg volume for little extra weight. You can check them out though, ...

Re: LPG PINZSSI

I run a dual fuel system that lets me switch between lpg and petrol. I also have an SSI ignition, it's one of the best mods I've done. I love it, no noticeable power loss...perhaps a small power increase with a little more ignition advance. It's hands down a much smoother engine running on lpg. So f...
