Re: Wheel stud replacement
I spent a lot of time trying to locate longer studs found some dodge 3/4 ton that would probably work. The dodge one are a few thounds smaller in the serrated area so I was a little concerned. Then I found some Gorilla extended lug nuts. Problem using these was the clearance of the wheel holes is .6...

Laying out tire and jerry can swing carrier.
I am planning on moving my spare tire off the tail gate. While I am at it want to be able to carry two more fuel/water containers. Waiting for axle spindal to arrive for pivot point. I don't like the weight of the tire on tail gate since the 3rd world California roads are tearing the latch up. IMG_1...

Re: Using the Harbor Freight Solar panel to charge pinz?
I would not chance the voltage regulation on that charger to leave it connected weeks at a time. I know from experience that these will https://www.pulsetech.net/sp-2-solarpulse-12v-solar-charger-maintainer-2-watt.html I have used them for years. More money initially but you only need to fry /overch...

Re: Wheel stud replacement
Looking for information on longer wheel studs. I have aftermarket aluminum wheels that don't engage enough threads. Also do you have to remove axle to replace the studs or the be pressed off while on the vehicle?
Can anyone provide measurement for the length of stock stud?
Thanks in advance. Thanks

Re: First Oil Change, need opinions
I always make sure engine gets fully warmed up and rarely just move it in driveway even then, I take it for 5 miles so no moisture in exhaust etc.

Re: First Oil Change, need opinions
I pulled fuel pump. IMG_2349.JPG Took fuel pump apart, diaphragms look pretty good no crack or holes visible. Should have Napa auto part replacement installed this afternoon. Picture of area under pump was not really loaded with fuel as I was expecting. Now I am not so sure of pump causing fuel in o...
