just a bit of recent experiance to pass on... i just had a set of pistons and rings installed in my 710 and the differance was so great! before the new top end i smoked and used oil as if i owned an oil well. with the new top end i can let the little beast sit and idle for as long as my paitence wil...

stay away from the ebay boots !

i bought my pinz last summer and it had three of the original yellow boots split. i got the cheep boots off of ebay and they took about three months to turn into ribbons . i guess its the material , but they seem to have instantly dry rotted. the one that i kept in a plastic bag still looks new and ...

just a short note . desert rat off road here in tucson has trexus tires in stock. i just picked up a set of 285 75 16. they had the 265 as well. fyi

the first ime i tried to fill my 710 to the top with gas the beast started the spill of the lifetime.it leaked until the gas level was below the top of the tank, maybe a quart or two. the cork gasket at the gas guage sending sending unit was in about 6 pieces. a little gasket paper and no more leak.

i need a bit of info... ive got a worn ring gear on my pinz and i seem to be having trouble finding a replacement. ei doesnt list one on their web site and sav lists one for 3and change but none in stock. in the good ol days of no money and totally repairable vehicles i used to get away with heating...

opps my mistake... iwasnt clear in saying that the tires i was talking about were the ones on my dodge diesel. my pinz has 265/75/16 on it and i like the ride an the slight gain in top end speed without losing much torque.they are high profile enough to give the max clearance . a problem that ive ha...

short reply to the power thing . the larger the circumferance of the tire the greater the distance covered per rotation. maybe only couple inches per rotation but lots of rotations at say 60 mph. from experiance with a dodge diesel(the only reliable speedo ive got)the differance in speed with a 215 ...
