Ignition key HOT?!?!?!?

Wow! I just burn my finger with my key!! After driving for about 45 min at nigth when i turned off and pulled the key out it was very hot, so i proceed to touch the back side of the ignition switch and it burned me!!!! Is something wrong in here!! Can somebody tell me what sould i look for??? Too ho...

i had a problem similar to yours, but after all testing cleaning the carbs,..i ended replacing, points,condenser,rotor,cap,wires and spark plugs,problem solved.. :mrgreen:

i dont use the lockers that often... so just yesterday i pulled the truck out and play with the lockers several times( on n off) after 4 to 5 times they seem to act faster to engage or disengage..!! :?

i use the CRAZY GLUE method...... glued and bolted while on the axle,, let it dry..then slip it on the diff, clam it!!!.....it worked for me! :wink:

well, thanks for your comments, it all came down to be the MOLEX CONNECTOR, the connector near the oil cooler, yes that damn conecctor was loose or doing a bad connection, i locked myself in the garage ,lights out, and start revving the engine(it was like a suicide :shock: ),then i saw a spark jump ...

last thing i did today check valve clereance, cap rotor and new wires, recheck carb sync... :(

been working on a little hesitation, and now the problem got worse!, i replaced rotor, cap, wires, spark plugs, carb accel pump,cleaned carbs,,set timming, valve clereance,balance carbs, point gap,, i just sprayed the outside of carburators with carb cleaner to see if there any leaks and no change o...

I believe this tires are too big for a pinz to move... I can't find a picture of one with this tires :( or somebody who has mounted this size before...
