Re: Solar Battery Charger ?

I almost bought one but it seems that no one has ever installed just tons sold:) I researched them last month and came to the conclusion that I don't like it. I don't like the 12v side as it just draws from 1 battery creating an imbalance which will end up costing a lot in replacements batteries! Th...

Re: Rear Seat Cushion Drawing

Hi, How about making a set of plans for the front seats as well? :D That way, the likes of me who will have to replace ALL the seats will be able to. I am looking at using memory foam but will need to find out which grade will work best. What we really need is someone who has access to an Industria...

I have that green and tan Pinz picture saved from a while back as I like that rack!
On that 404 is the extended doka cab bolted down on each side of the frame?

Re: 1962 Haflinger Bantam

SNIP The 14" wheels I have on my haffie have no clearance issues as the offset on the wider wheel means the track is about the same as a haffie with 12" wheels on. However the wheel/tyre is taller and I don't think this help stability. I think that the taller you go the fatter the tyre ne...

Re: Hi-Lift 4XRAC Mounts

yes those are mine. I don't have any closeup pics on a truck. I just weld tubing to flat stock and weld a nut into the end. Some like a threaded stud instead so they can drill it for a luggage lock for security. I like the studs with wing nuts but for security reasons, these work out better. I also...

Re: 1962 Haflinger Bantam

So you purchased these lugs vs the link you posted? 10mm x 1.50mm Thread Pitch http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/-/171/726/-/8628/ITP-Tapered-Chrome-Lug-Nut http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/images/prod/275/i/itp_10_1087210007.jpg Sorry Shawn, this has gone a bit off topic from your 1962 Bantam...

Re: Hi-Lift 4XRAC Mounts

Mine is attached to the existing arial tube mounts on the front, but it is only the bar of the jack, the rest is stored inside. That is my favorite mounting method - moving parts stay inside: clean and dry and I like the 60" bar. I am sure putting it all together takes less than 5 mins! Thanks...

Re: Hi-Lift 4XRAC Mounts

I know ScottishPinz used the radio tube mount points on his 710K so no new holes drilled. http://real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerBBS/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8069&start=15 I know you have a 710M so not really the same just passing it on GenevaPinz mounted his inside his 710M http://real4x4forums.com/P...

Re: 1962 Haflinger Bantam

Mine are the same as yours 14 x 5
What tires and size are you going to run on them for street use?
And what about the nuts - I think Jim L said these rims are good to use the regular nuts vs getting some machined?
