Has anyone ever modified their pinz to accept a different bolt pattern, one more common?

The rack will get a 50" Rigid off road light bar, beyond that I am not sure what I will add

The ladder is removable, it has 1 1/4 OD pegs on the rack and 1 1/4 ID tubes on the ladder. The bottom of the ladder slips into the bumper. Spendy but two of the Trojan Gel Group 27's are what are in my truck. I didn't buy them, they came with the truck. but sware by a quality gel batteries if you can afford them.
Optima makes a simalar battery for far less as an secound choice for gel

Well not done but I had to put it up to see what she would look like so I put it on my old surf rack. The rack is 11 feet long but the welded decking only extends 8 feet. I will be boxing in a removable panel for the front 3-foot area, as I wanted to utilize the sub-hatch when it is not needed. http...

Welded in the 13g expanded metal today. Took 540 small welds... Now I need to make the legs and clamps so I can mount it. I was thinking about using 4" x 1/4" bar stock and bending it with a torch. Then for the clamps I was thinking 14ga. Figure 3 per side would be good Does this seem like...

I am just using a 175 Miller with gas, I use to have a flux core welder but after switching to shielding gas I fould it to be way easer to weld, and the results were way cleaner.

Paul, boy I got you fooled, trust me I do my share of grinding as well.

I am making the rack 138" which is about 3.5 inches longer then the roof on my 710. I have plans to mount a light bar under it in the front.
