Pretty sure it's never legal to adjust an odometer, but it's not like you're trying to sell it tomorrow with "accurate miles". I would set it for my own satisfaction and be very open and upfront with any potential future owner.

Pinzies are caught in a weird space between classic collectibles and off road vehicles. My experience with the latter is that you recoup a maximum of 50% of your investment in accessories and upgrades. Many times its less. Very optimistic pricing but best of luck to the seller.
