Re: Carb Rebuild - Mark in metal question
Can someone convince me my fears about where that little scrap of metal that broke off the inside of the throttle body might have gone are baseless? I feel like given the horizontal cylinder lay out, there's a good chance it just passed right thru the combustion chamber... but the nagging part of me...

Re: 24V System Charging Help
What are the thoughts on venting the battery while using a float? I have 2 harbor freight units I hook up, and when I actually read the instructions it made me start removing the batteries from the unit and taking out their vent caps. Which is a huge pain needless to say... Thanks Sent from my iPhon...

Re: Carb Rebuild - Mark in metal question
TechMOGogy - WOW is right. My first thought when i realized was "How soft are these carbs? Whats to keep me from cranking the screws right thru whatever i put over the opening?" For a bunch of reasons i don't think that would actually happen. I'm surprised the idle mix screws didn't strip,...

Thanks Ako - they are really tough to see. I highlighted one with a ring - I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be there, just not sure what to do about it.
Thanks for looking!

Carb Rebuild - Mark in metal question
Spent my black friday cutting through all the junk on the outside of the carbs - good thing is the insides look good (mostly) and don't seem to have been opened up since new. I saw some strange marks in the metal below the butterflies - one below each butterfly. Like indentations? There is nothing o...

Re: Sources for Hub Steps
I was thinking about making some hub steps - any advice on metal thickness to use so that there is enough clearance between the hub and the wheel?

Re: Turn signal switch smoking
my turn signal does the same thing, though not on use, only when i have to crank the engine for more than a few seconds to get it running.

Re: Engine tin powder coated
beautiful motor.
question from a novice - that intake looks a lot more free flowing than the stock part. does this allow more o2 into the engine and affect the fuel / o2 mixture? or is that adjustment handled in the carb? or do you have to adjust the carb separately?
thanks and nice work
