Re: Neoprene seat covers
Well it turns out the reason why I couldn't get my covers on is that they were missing a critical part of the pattern...the seat back slit that goes over the stock 'rubber bands'. After corresponding with Seat covers Unlimited they realized their mistake and promptly took care of it. Their customer ...

Re: 255/85R16 KM3 tires hard to find
I've been impressed with my Falken MT's, although they're in the skinnier 235/85-16 variety on Transit wheels. I don't have a ton of driving under them yet, but they seem to work great at lower pressures off-road and are wearing reasonable in the rear for an unloaded Pinz. I think for the price they...

Re: Finally ready for some trail rides
There's not many around here as most places are private or protected (not the worst thing) but we have a few. Helped my Dad pull down a hazard tree the other day. It's great to put this beast to work and definitely in it's element. The size, grunt, and traction of a Pinz is pretty hard to beat. IMG_...

Re: Northwest MogFest 2022..."It's A Zoo!!!"
Hmmm 13hr drive for me...in a Pinz that would be about double or maybe even triple, ha! Sounds like a good time wish I could make it happen!

Finally ready for some trail rides
Now that my Pinz is fully operational and running well, I finally had the chance to put it to the test on one of the local passes. I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time, ahaha can't wait for the next one!

Re: selling out maybe
Sorry to hear the news about your friend...hopefully the son understood what he was working with. I'm basically a brand new Pinz owner but have been looking at prices for a few years now and it seems the low end would be what I have, a basket case 710m for 6k, and the high end whatever Bring-a-Trail...

Re: Neoprene seat covers
I received my neoprene seat covers today and they seem very well made. I'm excited to get them installed but am a little confused on the rear seatback install. Daly944, do you have any other photos of how you attached these covers on the seatback portion with the seat back frame in the way? My origi...

Re: New 712m owner + first things to check
Good looking Pinz! Do you know if that's factory paint or a respray? It looks super clean regardless. While you're replacing all the fluids, double check your ignition system too. Even EFI consumes components such as spark plugs and wires....that'd be one of my first checks to see how balanced the e...

Re: Neoprene seat covers
Good to know! I wonder if one could send in a rear cushion cover for a pattern and they would make it. It'd be nice to have a matching rear option as well, and if they wear out you just order another.
The local upholstery guys around me aren't very cost effective.

Re: Neoprene seat covers
Wow those look exactly how I was hoping they would...same color I was looking at to boot! Thanks for sharing. Once you get the corners figured out do they stay or is this one of those things that you are constantly fighting?

Re: Neoprene seat covers
Not sure on any differences in seats over the years...they all look the same to me :) I found this thread here which got me to Seatcoversunlimited. http://real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerBBS/viewtopic.php?t=4577 I called and verified they had the pattern as that thread was 13 years old and the name of th...

Neoprene seat covers
I'm in the market for some fresh seat covers and came across a few mentions of SeatcoversUnlimited for exact fit Pinz covers. I called just to be sure their website was correct and they do indeed (still) have the patterns. I was looking at their neoprene ones here: https://www.seatcoversunlimited.co...

Loose ignition key
I'm curious if I'm the only one with this issue. When I am on rocky trails/logging roads and hit a large bump, it seems my key tends to jump ship landing on the floor somewhere. Usually I can find it right away but I can see this being an issue if I need to shut the engine off quickly and it finds i...
