Re: E-trac mounting height?.

If you're going to have belts, they need to be mounted properly. Period. Someone submarining under a belt from wearing it too high is a potential huge cause for serious injury, especially for children. Vertical e-track or L-track might be the answer. You'll have to see for yourself. I don't feel con...

Re: E-trac mounting height?.

As low as possible. They're lap belts not waist belts. I'd also recommend you look into L-track. The E-track everyone has been using is extremely overkill for a seat belt. Google Schroth racing harness MTG.

Re: 718 Starter

Thanks for the explanation Prof. I'd assume if a planet gear was broken it might have been removed and run with just the 2 planets, or it was converted to direct drive with a significant reduction in torque and hike in amperage draw.

Re: Electrical Upgrades For A Factory Restored 710M?

Yes. The schematic is as you know available and with the body off I wouldn't think twice about doing it. Check out places like "Spaghetti Wiring" they do very nice work among many others.

"IF" i broke my fan And it wasn't prime Pinzing season (winter) i'd probably look into Stereolithing myself a fan. I'm sure i could do it with Much better mat'l like Torlon. But thats because i have access to Faro arms, software for reverse engineering & fluid dynamics. It would be int...

Re: Electrical Upgrades For A Factory Restored 710M?

I'm gonna go against the grain on this one. If ever there was a place for improvement on a Pinz, it's on the electrical system. I'd look into a higher output alternator, or install a second w "house" batteries, increase the wire gauge for possible 12V conversion after figuring out what I w...
