Hey John Yes pinching off the brake lines makes bleeding the brakes SOOH much easier. Also when re-inserting the sub axle assy and pinching down the flange to axle seal joint DO NOT be tempted to rotate the stub axle through the whole travel--it was never designed to do that! If you do so it will pu...

Well I dunno But put it this way--He lost a tranny somewhere out on the plains getting it to Utah before it SEIZED--NO OIL. Who or what went wrong I didn't ask--I simply saw no reason to enquire quite frankly--we checked the level when it was here and it was found good on all boxes! I know nothing o...

John
Wow!
Nice, one of the classics.
Both were state of the art ring frame construction a la aircraft fusalages.
Bloody marvelous designs.

The other US unit I like is the old Trailways GM semi double decker design. Again American bus design at its best.

John In Latin America it's usual to end up with a nickname (sobre nombre -- apodo) after a while. I worked with a guy who had a severely pockmarked face from acne scars--His nick name was 'guanabana" the Spanish for the fruit Soursop which has a similar looking white and reddish skin. :l...

Captain Crank The dash pots are the chambers formed by the vacuum piston needle jet assembly sliding inside the top cover. The top cover has a black plastic cap on it---and if you remove it you will find it is attached to a fine rod and piston assembly. To prevent the slider assy from fluttering und...

Next pull the choke cable and see if the jet assy on both carbs is moving down into the enrichment position. Next take a look at the servo hoses and the ...

DoGauer Came and went! This is probably the ex Texas demo RedBull unit which we have seen before--only less so! There wasn't a lot to do to it, except the carburetors were hanging off----as they were when we saw it last! Food for thought though, was the fuel tank having been replaced for an A...
