Bruce,
all Austrian army gas pinzies have the TD back lights, but they have been modified with TD mounting plate. I have mounted a couple of Fiat Daily lights. If you like I could send you pics of both.

I changed the pushrod with another abt 4 mm longer I found among my second hand spares: now everything works perfectly!

I changed only the disk, not pressure plate or bearing or pushrod because all seemed in good conditions. Neither I resurfaced the flywheel. The new clutch plate was obviously thicker than the old one. I realise now, from your tips, that there are different pushrods: are they specific for pinz or com...

On the contrary, with engine off, it was possible to select all the gears. I dismantled gearbox and found out that clutch friction disc was worn and distorted with a brok...

Here in Italy the easiest way is to register the vehicle as historical. In this case you have to obtain a certification from the National Historical Auto-moto Club with all tecnical characteristics (and number of seats limited to 9 for license limitations as above), they certify also that the car is...

I think it was a special version coming from UK army with 3 doors (2 front and 1 back) with very high roof. Actually it was advertised for a long period; maybe it is still in some other place. Try a web search (pinzgauer 718 gebraucht or similar).

Ugo, we know each other since we exchanged messages in an other italian forum few months ago. I'm following your paths since I started with gasoline pinzies to finish with a TD. Is your 716 registered in Italy as car or truck? How many seats? I live in Veneto region. Anhony, I understand you are loo...

Is there anybody in Germany who is informed about local procedures/bureaucracy and can answer to foll questions? Can I hav...

Do I have to buy the switch from magna steyr or is it commonly available in the market? I have seen it in the spare parts catalogue with nr 7111850750, Kostal 8860; was it installed also in other cars?
Thanks
