Re: Christmas Pinz?!
Sorry to hear about your losses this year. I am posting a couple links to help cheer you up. I love this Pinz paint job. https://youtu.be/ymWKA7zrpkU And who doesn't like a good factory promo video. The footage at position 11:12 takes my breath. I so want to be able to do this. Where do I find a sno...

Ditto if you decide to sell both. Who knows, you may need the extra funds to pay for a wiper motor gear, new horn or something.

Re: 10 mm Bolts to Remove Brake Drum
Also remember, for future reference. Without pictures, It never happened. It sounded like an epic attempt at forward progress with an over abundance of perceived ability to cross the road. I've had Penny stuck just 2 times in 3 years. I have felt great shame in asking for help. But to get it stuck w...

Re: Feeler
And please stop with the rino lining. This is a 40 year old truck with rust issues. All you are doing is covering up rust and giving it a nice quiet place to eat metal. You rino new, not old. The next guy is going to have to remove it to see what needs repaired. Mine was rinoed and now I have been r...

Slit boots rotting
I replaced the OEM boots with split boots last winter (8 months). I went off reading last weekend. Before I went, I did a pre maintenance check and noticed that I was getting dry rot in the creases. I was cleaning the truck last weekend and checking oil levels I happen to notice the split boots have...

EMP attack
I have a question as to the survivability of a Pinz in an EMP attack. In the original configuration shielded cables and points, would Our truck still run? I imagine alternator would be toast as well as all bulbs, but would she still run? What additional steps and precautions would one have to make t...

Re: Extended life oil filters
I feel synthetics are ideal for newer engines. These are designed to run on dino oil. They had synthetics back then and didn't use them for a reason. Oil is cheap. I don't mean to sound dismissive, so please don't take offense. context is hard to convey in a message. I guess if you were using your P...

I cant imagine mounting those tires was any fun. Looks like they would just press them on like a bushing.

Installing strobe flashers
I was looking at installing small strobe flashers 1 inch by 3 inch on All 4 corners. I got the idea from seeing a deuce and a half that has it done. Last year I burned up my turn signal switch and flasher leaving the four ways on while I was on the interstate. State Police pulled me over twice for g...
