What I used. Works great for this situation. It came with m4 and m5 but I have not replaced any of that size.

If you're curious, those little thingies are Vibrex fasteners. They're pretty neat if the rubber parts are not all dried out and they still work. 1/2 turn clockwise and they click locked, the other way unlocked. A strong hold and quick release if they work as designed. SAV actually has them 71117101...

I did all of the inside lights, panel, instrument, and license plate with superbright LED bulbs in my K. All the panel, instrument, and locker lights had to have the bulb dome lopped about in half with a dremel cut-off wheel to fit. The map light over the glovebox fits without modification. The mod ...

The following bits I used to replace rivnuts on my 710K (Austrian), and they pretty much match up to the hardware size previously installed. I think this one has been on ebay more at least once in the last year or so. "Sold" to a zero feedback bidder it might be back again on ebay.

The last maintenance I did was to lube the drive shaft, and to do so I put the transfer case in neutral so I could spin it. It just hit me after I replied to Undy's post. Sorry for the basic question but...
If the oil migrates out of the diff seals (and axle boots are in-tact), does the oil make its way down into the portal hub? I have never been into the insides of this system and am curious "where the oil goes"?

Maybe time to ask about tubes in radials... When I picked up my Pinz fresh from Austrian import, it had the standard Austrian Semperit Ameri-grip (marked as radials) that I have seen on all the factory refurbished 71X models from the Austrian military. And all have had tubes in them. The dealer also...

If you call the LA location, he will likely recall what we put on there exactly since I took it to their small warehouse/office in Burbank and we got the perfect set-up. It was all on the shelf there. Feet were stock feet. If you look at their site, you see what is there in the pics so I dont know ...

I'm confused. The stock Heaters had an external 24v pump? Where is it mounted on a K? On my K the electric metering pump is installed behind a panel in the right front wheel well by the tank. When the heater controller is calling for fuel, you can feel or hear the pump ticking if you listen closely...
