Re: Pinz front entry step

I just watched the u-tube video and I think it is an interesting concept however, getting out of the vehicle seems like it might be a little "awkward" for me. I'm an old man now (mid 60's) and I'm a life-long advocate of the K.I.S.S. principle. I just ordered a set of Mike's fold-up steps;...

Re: Pinz front entry step

Looks like a viable solution to an ongoing problem that I have. I'm sure that my wife would appreciate an addition like that. If you should decide to produce something like that for sale, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear steps, which ones work best?

I've been considering the Westin Truck Pal tailgate ladder; it's a four step, tri-fold aluminum ladder which bolts onto any flat area (like the rear floor). Their web site says it will fit upto a 38" deck height. Since I just intend to carry passengers (mostly my grand-kids), I'm not concerned ...

Pull Pal choice

Hope you don't mind some imput from a FNG, I used to have a 3/4 ton Dodge with a Cummins diesel and a Warn 12000 lb. winch on it. Talk about nose heavy...anyways, if I were up to the frame in goo or trying to pull myself up a steep, rocky incline, Iwould want all the Huevos I could muster. I prefer ...

Ain't Karma great!

So I'm sitting in my hospital bed on Monday morning having just come out of the surgery room for my second "total knee replacement" thinking about how I'm going to enjoy the next three months off doing "little things" on my truck. Oops! I just lost four days...damn that codine!So...

710M Hardtop

I am the proud owner of a stock 1975 710 M wich I purchased from Thilo in Prescott about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately for me, or perhaps fortunately due to the economy, I have a good full-time job in Calif. but my truck is in Az. where I hope to retire in the near future. Anyways, I'll get t...

GPS Accuracy

First of all, I wish to appologize to all of you for my lack of computer skills. I am about as computer savy as a rock. I don't know how to post pictures, direct others to different web sites, hell, I even type with two fingers. The reason I tell you this is because, sometimes, I find something whic...

Bead locks...again

I was bumping around the net today at lunch and I came across an article on Pirate4x4.com about something called the Rockstomper beadlock. The article is in their tech section for 2002. Also went to Rockstomper.com, looks like an interesting way to go especially since it apparently can increase the ...
