To me, not having 4WD (or 6WD) in a Pinzgauer would also be a drawback. (Why else would you own one, just for looks? )

Re: Wow wow wow - very rare opportunity for someone 710k US

I believe the photos I got from Dennis Williams are of a different (maybe civilian?) Pinz. They are not o...

Re: Front suspension bangs

A shock should be easy to diagnose. Those must be big potholes to allow the axle to drop far enough to hit the strap, I'd think.

Two parrots are sitting on a perch. One parrot says to the other, "Do you smell something fishy?".

Hint: If you don't get it, ask someone younger than nine.

I don't know how to do this any other way. Check out this guy's story. Best way to get out of a speeding ticket. Not really a joke, but it's really funny!!

What's the difference between a Greyhound Bus depot and a lobster with a boob-job?
One's a crusty bus station and the other's a busty crustacean.

Some swelling may be normal, but...
What did you use to clean things up? Any mineral oil based stuff may well have contaminated them and caused them to swell, I'd think.

Re: Locker/4x4 slave cylinders

Sam, Not sure of where you're describing the pressure, but they do have a spring assembly that preloads the engagement splines when you depress a lever. It allows you to drop the lever even if the splines aren't meshing yet. When they line up, the spring pushes the lock collar into the locked positi...
