Re: Are the old weber and NDIX carbs interchangeable?
I have found a well-functioning Weber and a well functioning Zenith NDIX provide very similar results. The primary weakness we have seen in the Weber is leaking floats. With the Zenith, it is worn throttle body shafts causing air leaks. Some Zeniths, especially on the Unimog 404, seem to get a bit &...

Re: Extra Mirrors
B Bryan, You originally contacted me through our Northwest MogFest website. I have responded with numerous e-mails along with photos of various parts and price ranges. I now have to question if you ever received any of these e-mails. I have taken you up on your offer to send you a text. That has bee...

Re: Extra Mirrors
In the past, I have purchased sets of mirrors from both Haflinger Technik and Robert Prokschi. I may have some spares I could part with but have to check my inventory. It is nice to know about the rectangular Land Rover mirrors although that type used on Haflingers are of smaller dimensions if memor...

WANTED: TGB11 roof hatch assembly
Good morning to all! I realize this as a very L-O-N-G shot but I am trying to locate a roof hatch assembly for our TGB11. It is an AluZn re-bodied truck but the hatch on this one has rusted significantly. While not beyond the scope of meticulous restoration of the existing assembly, I replacement un...

Volvo C-series/Land Rover brake parts cross-over numbers
Hello to all. It seems like an eternity since I last posted here. I have been away from Volvos for over six years but now find myself back in the saddle again. My brother recently moved his 1975 AluZn TGB11 up from Texas. It has been sitting idle for the eight years and is now being brought back to ...

Mad Max,
Consider coming down even if you cannot bring your truck. Is your noisy fan due to the fan bearings being shot? If so, we may have a solution if you want to stay with the standard set-up.
Take care.

Mad Max, Is your truck up for a bit of a drive? Our seventeenth annual will be held at Waldersee Farm, just two hundred miles south of Gig Harbor. This year, we are anticipating at least a half dozen Volvo C-series trucks. You and your beautiful example would be most welcome. If interested, please g...

Northwest MogFest 2016: August 18th-21st
Hello to all. We officially start the event in one month although we have already had some early arrivals. We are expecting a very large Haflinger presence along with Pinzgauers, Volvo C-series, Unimogs, G-wagens, Syncro Vanagons and many other other interesting European high mobility vehicles. Unfo...

Re: Seat Belts
Your choice might depend on which model Haflinger you own. A simple lap belt will work on all. if you a later model US spec/Pathfinder, the front roll bar has the bung necessary for a three point belt. We have successfully used a variety of belts including vintage Mercedes "J" hook-style a...
