Re: new pinz
Congrats on your new 'love' it will probably be the other woman in your life now. I cut the noise in the cab way down by using some insulation, the type used on water heaters (the silver bubble wrap), spray glued some black sunbrella fabric to the bottom side that shows in the cab and fitted it und...

One last question (until tommorrow :D ), the rear axle tire seems to have both wheels at an off camber, much like the VW dune buggy's of years past. In other words, they are tilted in. Not so much on the other 2 axles. I take it this is normal? Thanks again for all the help and if anyone has any ad...

I have my handles mounted with T-nuts and stainless screws like Jim had recommended. I don't have any hardware holding my door tops in. They are heavy enought that they stay in place, and there is absolutely no ratling. I don't have metal door panels anymore, so mounting the handle there wasn't an o...

I've jacked mine  under the rear tube bumper multiple times with no issue. I have a Expedition Imports front bumper that holds the Pinz up just fine, I'm not sure about the bumperettes strength. Pinzinator and a couple of others raise a good point regarding stability. I have a stand that attatc...

LOL, the best part of that was that Morris always told me that he didn't drive over 50MPH. So here I am by lonesome driving up the 5, and Morris catches up to me. My speedo is pretty close, 30Kilometers on the Odometer came out to 18.1miles in mile markers. (perfect would be 18.6)BTW Morris, I chec...

BTW, we caught some major air (witnesses inside the back said about 3 feet up) totally by accident. I was hitting those whoops faster and faster as the shocks got dialed in, and we hit what turned out to be a jump, not a whoop. Needless to say, everyone was impressed (except me, I was terrified). I ...

Rancho 9000s with the in cab controller
I've seen some posts regarding whether or not the Rancho 9000s are effective on a Pinz. Up until this weekend, I wouldn't have had anything to say either way. On our way to a trail, we drove through almost 12 miles of whoops. After playing with the pressures, finally stopping on number 9 in the fron...
