Wow, talk about a whole gaggle of 4 wheelers! Interesting event, not necessarily a wheeling event so much as an event to show how large the four wheeling community in general is. I would guess that there were roughly 2000 people there, maybe more. The main area was about a ½ square mile, with vehicl...

I've had a few Realistic (radio shack) CBs, and I've never had one fail. (knocking on wood). I've had a couple of Cobras with a 50% fatality rate. Never had a Uniden, so I don't have any input for those. I always buy used Realistic CBs; I believe that the older ones seem to have more transmitting po...

Wow, nice pics! That looks like a bunch of fun for sure. I only have one question: What's that wet looking brown stuff? ;)

We don't get too much mud around here, we just get to fall off of rocks. How'd the Pinz's do in the deep stuff?

He tried that, same result.

Wider tires causing issues? I can't see how. Now if you offset the wheels to create a wider stance (more stability) this would put more strain on the axles, bearings, etc. Just my opinion, but the only issue with wider tires should be fitting them in the wheel wells and loss of power due to higher w...

LOL, the best part of that was that Morris always told me that he didn't drive over 50MPH. So here I am by lonesome driving up the 5, and Morris catches up to me. My speedo is pretty close, 30Kilometers on the Odometer came out to 18.1miles in mile markers. (perfect would be 18.6)BTW Morris, I check...

Circuit Breaker map

I know I've seen this before, but I can't seem to find the map of the breakers. I searched and even browsed through all of the tech posts for the map. Anyway, I just replaced my number 3 breaker (thanks Jim!), but now my number 12 is sticking in. Strangely enough, my headlights don't seem to work no...

Luckily for me, the previous owner of my Pinz had the foresight to get it registered as an auto. I've been pulled over a few times when the top is off and my kids were in the back. As soon as the police realized that there were seats and seatbelts, they were fine with it. Nice to have an auto that c...

Weird, it's pouring out, and I just came back from a drive to the store. No leaks from the doors whatsoever, the top is a different story. I know my Pinz was rebodied at one time, and the window design is slightly different, on the bottom front of mine it's rounded instead of squared off. Any...

the guy i bought this from ran the 35x13.5x16 on stock rims and aired them down without problem i don't recall how low. Patrick at CWR recommended 285x75x16 for the stock wheels. i have not driven it yet ( @ work 800 miles north of my toy) but my son says the steering is not much different but lack...

I still haven't lost a bead off road. Funny that I popped it off driving forward about 15 ft with about 3 or 4 lbs in them. I figured I'd be ok just to get it in the garage. :)
