Brake fluid type

Well Jim, it appears you were right. As soon as it started getting cold, my master brake cylinder started dribbling. What type of brake fluid do I need to top it off with? DOT 3 or 4 I'd assume, but I can't find it in the manual.

Thanks,
Michael

Pinzgauer article in the San Diego Union Tribune

No big deal except the guy believes that they only appear to exist in Coronado, CA. Local exposure, watch the prices climb.

I did on one of my Jeeps. It's a pain in the rear end. Unless you have a really good welder, you're likely to have small pinhole leaks which means your compresor will be cycling pretty regularly. There is also a safety consideration; bumpers are meant to... well, bump. Filling one with compressed ai...

Nice site. I noticed that they also have a 25 amp 24 to 12VDC converter for $199. Anyone try this one out or have a better solution?

Hi Dave,
What's the clinic going to cover? :?: I'm game if it covers maintenance or other stuff that I'm too stupid to find by myself. BTW, Dave managed to swap my glass in about 10 minutes on my Pinz, so I assume that you have some other tricks up your sleeve?

Hi Morris,
If you want some help getting it all put together, come over my house this weekend and we can figure it out together.

I know that bumper you got from EI last week cannot be light, that is one heavy duty bumper.

Mogfest '06 pics and thanks!

Here's the pics and videos http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r187/pinzwheeling/ Here's the commentary: :) Wow, what an event! This was my first Mogfest, but I'll be back for sure. I really want to thank a couple of people who helped me get to enjoy the event. Jim LaGuardia: You are a maniac. Howlin...

Kids?

Anyone bringing kids? I'm bringing 2 of mine and 2 of my buddy's. Ages range from 8 to 12. BTW, my 7 year old will be 8 on Saturday, I thought a cool ghost town camping trip would be a fun birthday party.

It's gotta be better than Chucky Cheese's!

At least the guy didn't tell me it was a Hummer. It seems that's the other truck I own that I don't know I have.

Michael, being the kinder, understanding person that I am  .... I'd take a pic of your 'Unimog' in front of the store , then post it on pirate 4x4 that an employee at that store set you straight, and that you don't have a Pinzgauer.... be sure to include a phone number for the store, so other...
