JULY 4TH UPDATE - - I am able to turn the engine over by hand using that large pulley. I could hear the pistons "puff" a little as they were sliding ... whatever that means.

An update on my information due to questions: The exhaust side of the intake manifold must have thinned and blown through (like mine in my personal Haf!) with use. That is my guess.
