Andy, you are correct. I made a rear metal top and used the sides from 2 710 tops to achieve the canvas sides. If you temporarily remove the rails that are over the doors then you can flex the windshield back enough to make installation of the vinyl top very easy. Once the front loops are installed put the rails back on and do the side hooks.

Make sure and inspect the shift tube carefully. They are prone to cracking at the gussets and then causing all kinds of havoc when shifting.
