Re: 712 M model toy

It is costing me almost $60.00 shipped :!: . He does have access to more of them, so once mine arrives I will do a review of the quality of the model kit and post it to the site.

Re: Problems w/ Bumping Up AMP's...

This forum has an incredible amount of information in both it's members ands it's archives. A little bit of reading and research will not only answer the inquiries, but also inform on questions not asked yet. I try to search my questions prior (not always vigilant) but if it's in the archives, it's...

Re: PLUG 3- WAY headlights

So if I understand this correctly, I can take my bulbs out of my 7" round fixtures and install h4 bulbs? If so then I could upgrade my headlights with a 24v h4 HID correct?

Re: Two rear cylinders not Working?

87 to 90? Did the pressure stay the same or how much did it drop over 60 seconds?
I would also do the test just as is and also with a squirt of oil into the cylinders.
What was the compression of the other two cyclinders. I may be wrong but I would think they should all be over 140

Re: Body Caulk? And Rust & Body Repair

The Samba is a great place for everything VW, admittly I am on that site as much as I am on this one. I have a old 23 window micro bus currently and a oval window beetle. Over the past 25 years I have done my share of rust repair on several old German cars and have found through the school of hard k...

Re: Body Caulk?

Media blast the bed, epoxy prime, use high quality seam sealer and then have the Line-x sprayed. make sure you take the sides and ends off first before Line-x. Bolts to take the sides off are under the rubber plugs whach are below the rub rails.

Re: What did you pay for your rhino lining?

first off do the disasembly yourself, as they charge alot for that. I would take the seats out all the floor plates and the side pannels off. bring in all the parts and you should pay 800 to 1,000. Don't skimp and not take the sides off. putting the linner down without doing that will excellerate ru...

Re: Worlds first

I did this in my Pinz, just installed a small Rackford Fosgate amp through a power inverter to a ipod cradle that velcro's to the engine cover. With a flip of a switch I can send the music into the speakers or into my intercom system. At freeway speed I have to have it into my intercom system in ord...

Re: Really need an exhaust solution

Noah
Your setup is not stock, it is a Magna Flow with the tip brought up to just under the side rail instead of going strait out like a stock one.
In my opinion your setup is far nicer then a stock setup.
710's and 712's use the same sized exhaust.
If you get a chance post a photo of yours up

Re: Quick Wiring Question: Radio Box behind seat

Taking the cover off the little box gives access for connections, but... If you are going to use something on a temporary basis...use the plug that fits the radio socket. http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.php?cat=pinzgauer&partno=SAV1438 $20 from SAV I just did this again on my new truck. Ev...

Winter Prep-Tire Chains

Tire chains Well my new truck is doing great, running everywhere in her and enjoying it tremendously. My question today is regarding tire chains, the previous owner has provided the original tire chains for the truck but only had them for 4 wheels. I suspect I am suppose to have sets for all 6 wheel...
