Re: Thinking about selling the 712M
Wow.... This is stunningly bad news.. For two reasons: 1) I don't want you to leave the Texas Pinzgauer group, and 2) I can't afford to buy your beautiful pinz from you. :) This is a seriously beautiful Pinzgauer, well done and well maintained. It is worth far more than David will ask for it. Timothy

Re: Big Bend National Park & Big Bend Ranch State Park trip
I just got home from a car trip to Big Bend National Park. I would love to do a Pinz trip there. It is already HOT there. Is there a date on the table yet? My dance card is filling up at work.

Re: Creekside Edge - Splendora, Texas (April 22nd)
Was he stuck? It doesn't look that bad, but looks can be deceiving. The worst time I got "stuck" was in about one inch of spring mud - but with hard frost under the mud. It was like being on ball bearings. So yeah, let's hear the story! Yes, I was very stuck. This mud hole looked exactly ...

I'm putting 2 and 2 together here and guessing you are worried about the trails at Rausch Creek. When I lived up that way, I took my Pinz there several times. Do not use chains. You'll just tear the place up. Air down and start on the easy trails until you have some confidence. Go slow. The first ti...

Can't go
Andy,
Sadly, I am teaching this summer and can not get off during this time. Otherwise, I'd be very interested.
Maybe next year.

Population center
I didn't think Comstock was a population center of Texas..... Unless you mean the Pinz population center. I hear there's lots of them out there.

Towing the Pinz
Audiocontr, I tow my pinz often. I bought a duel axle 7000 lbs car hauler trailer, which I bought used from a trailer dealer. Shop around, as I paid between a grand less and 3 grand less for this one year old used trailer than what they wanted for a new trailer. As for trucks to tow this, bigger is ...

Seel Soldiers
I hear you. For a long trip you have to choose one over another. I would like to do both if they are not the same weekend. I am lucky enough to be close to both events.
