Re: Nordic Tour

Dan I do a lot of trips, but often not in the Pinzgauer because it lacks the speed and economy of something newer. The decision has been made to utilise the Pinzgauer where it performs best on rough gravel roads with un-bridged rivers at a relaxed pace and then for future trips get a more road orien...

Re: Pinzgauer On Curvy Roads

The 4x4 does feel more stable when loaded a bit. Just pack your luggage to provide the ballast and remember, as you say, it is no sports car ;)

Re: Heater operation confusion???

The switch pulls out in two stages. First it switches on just fan and the dash light comes on. Second stage of switch is to turn on the heater and the dash light goes off until the heater burner ignites. Wow Pinzgauer

Just came across this http://www.gut-automobile.ch/en/pinzgau ... pinzgauers

Not understanding the language (reading from the pictures) it seems to be a diesel conversion on what was originally a petrol pinzgauer. It is amazing, a total re-manufacture of the 1970's truck we know and love!

Enjoying the truck

Just popped out for some wild mushrooms today. Lovely late summer / autumn weather and a good crop of mushrooms. Nice to get out for a drive in the Pinzgauer too!!
