I have the gaskets installed (Expedition-Imports rubber ones), Just use gasket sealer on cover side.
Works great, I have adjusted the valves a couple of times and find that the covers come off easily and the gaskets never leak. About 5 months old.

The VDO tach from SAV worked fine for about one month, a friend and I both have the same problem... sometimes it just jumps around!
There is no discernable power or engine rpm change, no hiccups with the engine, Haven't figured it out yet! :?:

I agree with chapel, use a little petroleum based solvent to remove the "sticky" stuff, kerosene works well. Then clean with rubbing alcohol or detergent. If the lense is scratched use a little plexiglas cleaner/polish. I have used this method on glass and plastics with good results! :lol:
