Re: Auxillary switch placement- What have you done?
Blame a lack of response on the holiday  -- never a lack of interest in responding. As far as a few ideas to consider, in addition to Paul's and Jim's. A couple of quick and dirties...some not so quick. I have added switches for Aux lighting to the Hazard/Aux 24v panel as below. In retrospect ...

Re: Substantial oil leak aft of oil pan
The procedure I find that works fairly well is to thoroughly clean all surfaces -- muck obscures the source. I have also found that a high resolution LED borescope tends to accentuate the visibility of oil showing a "deep yellow". https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYTHWK4/ref=oh_aui_sea...

Re: Faulty flasher switch?
Funny, I just had to replace my brake switch, Brakes always on. I confirmed it was bad switch as it was a relatively low resistance with and without hydraulic pressure on the peddle. Since you ordered a new Hazard switch may as well see if that fixes your problem if so no more hunting of electrical ...

Re: Splitting Axle
I got mine at Harbor Freight. 4" wide. Then you just gently bang it in to expand the joint.
You may need to blunt the edge down so that it just fits in the seam.

Re: Substantial oil leak aft of oil pan
It also appears from the PIX you have a fair amount of oil leaking down the side of the engine, which may be another clue the leak is associated with the Oil cooler or fuel pump. One thing to try is to remove the Tranie access cover inside the truck, then remove the small bell housing cover which wo...

Re: Splitting Axle
Haf-e nailed it, The chisel "expander" is key, but may not break the bond entirely. The one thing to keep an eye on is after re-assembly, the locking bolt is NOT an alignment bolt, it has a lot of slop. What you need to ensure is that the alignment is "true" watch for the spacing...

Re: 1982 Pinzgauer 710K for sale $9000
Well Andre, maybe, maybe... This truck is just missing all the key PIX's to know what rust damage there is or is not. Like foot-well area, area around steering mounting, Battery box, etc etc etc..... It's hard to know what this truck is worth W/O a heck of a lot more information -- beyond what you c...

Re: Why did my Pinz have fuel delivery issues
Question is where did the metal bits come from?
Looks like materiel from a fine tooth cutting blade,
might want to see if it is magnetic. or SS material.
IMHO I'd pull your tank plug and and flush the heck
out of your tank

If just for cutting why not water jet -- it's less expensive operationally as a base-line process.
Unless your looking at a more versitle Laser system that can do cutting, annealing, scribing
and welding?

Re: Electronic speedometer sender
Yes, the sender emits pulses/revolutions that it sees. But then there's a gear ratio involved as well 19/7 inside the diff. On the electronic variety of senders it's all programmable. The Hall Effect sender you want looks like this below, I don't know what the model number is but I can tell you VDO ...

Re: Smaller steering wheel with power steering?
The advantage of sticking with the stock steering wheel is if your
PS unit craps out on the trail then you still have the leverage the
bigger wheel provides.
