Parts book help

I am reinstalling the shelves in my 1975 710 k. The previous owner had removed them so I don't have the experience of removal to help. For some reason, my parts book skips sections 31-15 and 31-20 that I need. Certainly I can find the diagrams on line at SAV or EI but I would like the parts descript...

Re: Sitting 4+ years, checklist for resurrection...

Welcome to the forum! It is good to see another owner east of the Mississippi. There is lots of good information on here and mostly friendly Pinz owners to offer help. Search is your friend.

Re: headlight relay

Thanks Paul, I will look again but I was pretty sure it was solid brown. The brown and white, according to the schematics, goes to/from the 31b on the relay to the high beam switc.. My dangling brown wire does come from that group of wires so I will check the connectors. It makes sense that it plugs...

Re: headlight relay

Well I just could not let this go tonight so I decided to get the voltmeter out and do some late night testing. As it turns out, the dangling brown wire appears to be just a ground for the high beam switch. Or, at least grounding it gives voltage and the relay cycles giving high and low beams. This ...

Re: headlight relay

I'm dredging up this old post as I am having trouble figuring out my loss of high beams, right and left. No click from the relay when signal lever is activated so I suspected a bad relay. However, in reading this post, there is a comment that a brown wire from the steering column is the high beam sw...

Re: WTB 710K Table and/or hardware

Well yet another year has passed and still no table. Life and other projects have hindered my Pinz improvements but now it is time to get back to it so I am posting this up again. I am looking for a complete table or any hardware for the 710k table; Swiss or Austrian. I see so many photos of interio...

Re: Reverse-mount 12V alternator

Not even close to an engineer here, but how does this tax the already meager HP of the motor? I think that has been a concern in past discussions.

Re: Ignition Timing

I am confused. I thought the SSI was statically set at TDC, red light on, and the SSI module did the rest. No need to adjust anything else. Am I missing something?

Sounds like my input is a little late but I used nutserts if that would help anybody in the future.

Re: Security Questions

I just registered. For the question I used google translate then looked up the answer; fairly easy. But, despite choosing "english" version of the site, all of the forum posts are in German. Is there any way to get it in English without using google translate for every page? Thanks!

Re: WTB 710K Table and/or hardware

So another year has gone by and I still have not obtained a table or hardware for my 710K. I have had a couple possible leads and some who have sent dimensions but no product. Time has not allowed me to pursue making something; retirement may help that problem. But, I thought I would post this up ag...

I wish he (and others) was closer. Here in Indiana Pinzgauer knowledge is quite limited. One is pretty much alone on figuring things out and often I am at a dead end. Enjoy!!

Re: Portable light

Although not really authentic to the Pinzgauer, I have bought a couple surplus 24v Hella work lights that I like a lot. They have a magnetic base so obviously it will attach anywhere I wont them on the Pinz. I have a K version so I converted the light's original plug to a pingauer 2 pin used for the...
