If all you did was the Oil, Plugs and Filter thats odd. The Oil change shouldn't change anything. It shouldn't be the plugs if it is idling smooth. I would bypass the filter by removing the boot between the filter can and the air plenum, you may have restricted the airflow with to much oil on the fi...

The Pinz holds 20gal x 15mpg = 300 miles per tank full 10% increase is 30 extra miles per tank or 2 free gallons of gas $6.00 - $2.00 for the magic pill ...

Mike which model did you end up with, the 3500lb or 7700lb? The 3500lb seems to look like a good size without going to heavy.

If your not going to use the 12 volt batteries on a daily basis a 10 watt panel will maintain the batteries and do a slow recharge after draining them. This is a good style rated for marine use at a great price: http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Watt-Solar-Panel-and-Controller_W0QQitemZ6056307802QQcategoryZ419...

I orignally looked at both vehicals as well. While they are both great for off road use I couldn't tell you which is better, though any difference would pale in comparison to the competence of the driver so it is a wash in my book. The volvo uses the B30 volvo inline 6 which is a great motor and has...

Bert look a little closer those aren't Pinzgauers 712's. I think they are called Scania the swiss army replaced the pinzgauer with them a while ago. They look a lot like the Volvo C303 to me.
