I recall some one on the forum had used the duct from Aircraft Spruce here: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/scat.php I picked up some duct from McMaster-Carr but wasn't happy with my choice so I just bought the original from SAV as the price was reasonable. The parts manual gives the m...

I have a fan tool if you need to borrow one. Never used it myself yet so I don't have anything to offer as far as re-installation.

I think I may still have a used fan around here somewhere and IIRC it was balanced by Jake Raby for me.

Give me a call if you'd like me to look for it.

Jim L. also rebuilds carbs and then mounts them to a test engine for adjustment and fine tuning. He did a pair for me that turned out excellent. Also very reasonable price IMO.

You should have a yellow wire (+) which is low beam, a white (+) wire which is hi beam and a second (short) white wire (negative) which is the ground and should be fastened inside the headlight bucket behind the reflector.

Hope this helps,

I've been very happy with the Cooper ST and STT's. Good for highway and off-road use. Depending on size, etc. they run $155-195 each.

Having done the SAV flex coupling both ways, once with manifolds off and once with manifolds still on, I can tell you it is very uncomfortable lying on your back and doing it with them installed. Unless of course you have a younger, more flexible neighbor who is willing to do it for a few bucks :win...

I bought #3937T32 from McMaster-Carr and it's been working great so far. It seems identical to some of the cord I had previously purchased at SAV.

Check the sender to make sure it is screwed in tightly. Mine loosened up from vibration and the speedo readings became very erratic.

It really looks great ! Nice job.

I'm very sorry to hear you're selling it. :( I think you bought your 712 about the same time I got my 710. If I wasn't a little short on funds, I'd buy it. Some lucky guy will get a really nice truck.

Scott has stopped carrying the Doetsch shocks and it would be best to hear from him the reason why rather than go into it here.
I have the Doetsch HV-1 shocks and it is unlikely I will buy them again.
pm me if you'd like more info before Scott gets back to you.
