Is that your stash of $100 bills for Pinz parts in that plastic tub.
Like most stuff on the Pinz, pretty easy once you get into it.

Re: Rear Differential Lever Stuck
You may want to check the plunger rod that goes into the rubber boot. Sometimes if it is adjusted a little short and can come out of its socket and lodge against the edge of the cylinder, thus jamming the lever from moving. If you can see it to check it out and get your fingers in there wiggle the l...

Re: Winch uses
Yes you can use a Hi-Lift to winch with but I wouldn't use one on a stuck Pinz. Better to get a Tirfor hand winch, it's much safer, easier to use, portable and doesn't use electricity. They are rated for dead lifts with a built in safety margin so they will pull much more weight than they are rated ...

Sorry I don't have any extras left, they are really easy to make and you should be able to find some locally to modify.

Rack looks great, nice build and thanks for sharing the build pics. Are you going to add any accessories like lights or jack mounts?

Re: Pinz on new TV show Combat Hospital ABC
The commercial I saw was different than the YouTube promo clip. What I think I saw, was the front end of a Pinz Amby but couldn't see if it was a 710 or 712.

Pinz on new TV show Combat Hospital ABC
I think I saw a Pinz on the TV commercial for the new series Combat Hospital on ABC. It was just a quick shot but it may be a regular thing on the show. Our Pinzgauers are becoming quite the Star.
Have only seen the commercial once so if someone can confirm or rebut my sighting.

Re: rusty crusty connector
Go to Fry's Electronics and they'll have the parts. Here's a link to where they're at in MN: http://www.frys.com/template/isp/index/Frys/isp/Middle_Topics/D1%20ISP%20Access%20Numbers/MN/ Just print out the drawings and let them know it's for a Molex conector. Almost forgot, while your there ask abou...

Re: top rack for my pinz
Now to throw a real twist at you. I am also looking at an idea to make this a sleeping area. As I said before I kept it narrow to accommodate an awning. Lets say the awning is drawn over the truck and not away from the truck and a support hoop was made to carry the center peak, something like a ten...

Re: top rack for my pinz
Looks like a nice lightweight solution, should be easy enough to get on and off.
Is it welded to the back brace or mechanically fastened? Would make for compact storage when not in use if that back brace folded or bolted off.

Re: Overloading the alternator
Why not go with a H7 24 volt 35 watt HID conversion kit. They're very bright and fairly reasonable now. Look at how often your going to be using your spots, they probably won't burnout from use and running 35 watts bulbs will save you from damaging your Alternator which isn't cheap to repair or repl...

Re: HELP with DASH wires please !
Well take this with a grain of salt as my wiring is kind of like a birds nest, need to straighten the wiring out myself. I would double check this with a wiring diagram. #1 Brown wire seems to be a ground wire all of mine go to the lights for the idiot lights as far as I can see. If all of them are ...
