I mounted it between the rear edge of the table and the leading edge of the rear seats. I originally had an R/V/A/C mounted above,so I filled the hole with the vent. As the vent is very light,no reinforcement of the roof is neccessary,just the courage to cut out a 16" square hole in your roof! ...

Did you replace the condenser ?

I found that an RV style roof vent is the biggest bang for the buck....all you have to do is slide the windows open,and the ventalation is great(down the road) with no compromise of security. TTFN ,Mark

I was using an 11000 BTU rv a/c,and I wouldn't consider anything less. contact Foz for his input,I believe he lives in your neck of the woods!

The 24v model may be just fine in Colorado,but I have reservations about it's abilities here in Az or where you are with the humidity. On a more personal note,my unit should be a go in about 3-weeks!
