Cool, way too small for my liking though
I'll wait for the Pniz'y kit

Re: Some ''I just got a Pinz, now what?'' type of questions
Welcome to the forum Luc. What model Pinz'y do you have? With respect to your questions, start by using the Search function on the Site -- you will find a ton of material on 12V systems pro's and con's. In your case IMHO equalizer won't cut it by a long shot. Especially if your going to add radio ge...

Re: New inventory of Windshields soon ( in time for Xmas) :)
Armored is an understatement! Moved windows three times in the same box,
as the 1'st batch was too tight for my frame -- an odd duck. Back to Dave,
and custom cut ones back to me -- now fits like a glove
The tinting make an enormous difference on heat in the cab.

Re: circuit breakers
Which breaker(s) is/are poping? You may want to make sure you don't
have some other problem only to find a breaker upgrade has the same
problem Being at Whidbey Is. is not exactly all that hot -- relatively
skeak'n.

Re: Muffler Development - Not far off
My headers and heat-exchanger are Jet-hot ceramic coated. So far no issues. Cooler under the doghouse in the summer, and warmer in the cab in the winter. If the heat-exchanger runs so hot the elements melt, might be running too rich or a leaky exhaust valve dumping computable gases in the exhaust. ron

Re: 24v DC to AC converter - actual user input wanted
Prof. Pinz, Just FYI on REDARC -- awesome products, E X T R E E M E L Y robust. Unfortunately there are no distributes in the U.S. or Canada. The product that most interested me was their Converter/Charger that accepts MPPT or 12V/24V alternator input and outputs as a 40A 12V charger -- nothing like...

Re: power curve graph?
This site has the Maintenance manual posted on line.
The Torque/HP curves are there. As far as a 2.7 goes
that will be self-relative based on Dyno pulls, since this
was not stock.

Re: Hydraulic Flex Hoses
Best thing would be to trace the hard line back to it's end point. On a hunch I assumed the documentation didn't reflect my setup. I had a leaky leaky 4WD line due to rubbing against the engine. Sure enough what was supposed to be the 4WD hydraulic turned out to be the brake line. I put a cable tie ...

Wheel well rub
I have been noticing a scraping sound when I cut hard left on down grades. There is clear evidence of the Tire interfering with the inside of the rt. wheel wheel when the wheel is cut hard left. What I am not sure about is if this is due to relatively new tires with knobby side-walls or gradual sagg...

Good investment to make is a VDO oil Temp.
and a pressure gauge. Don't like idiot lights.
Give me piece of mind seeing the readings in
proper zone.

Re: Buying 2 new batteries, share your favorites!
Yellow or Red Optima depends. I run with 6 Yellows: [1 + 1] = 24V and [4 x 1] = 12V creature comfort devices. They don't out-gas, and orientate these on their side or in the up direction. Red is better for cranking/starting, Yellow is better for deep-discharge. Either would be fine. Red might be a b...
