airing down or up

You got me there, Mike.
Can't beat free.

I had a OBA system in a bag left over from a previous mog, I consider that free for me. The pinz is 'start again' so all the other stuff that is left over from my mog days is frosting on the cake.

Cheers,
Morris

Airing down

Staun sells a six pack of deflators for trucks. Put them on and by the time you get to the last one the first one is aired down to the preset pressure. Then just take them off. Waaaaaay simpler.

Denis,
You have a fine looking pinz, very clean.
I have received the tach from SAV, Can you help me get the correct wires to the gage?

Just saw this on ebay. No connection to this, just passing it on.

tachometer

I am looking for a tachometer for the pinz.
I had a Tiny-tach on the mog but it read only after a 1 or 2 second delay.
It would prefer to have a real time reading. There is a hole in the dash just waiting for this device, any suggestions on a make/model that will fill the bill?

Thanks,
Morris

speedo cover

I have used finger nail polish remover to get off adhesive residue from lots of stuff. Works great, it is cheap and may even be somewhere around the house. Ask if you can 'borrow' a little from your roomie.

Check a small area as a caution.

won't start

Jim, That was my first thought. That I had perhaps missed one on the hookup. How many should there be? I count four. One from battery (+), one from the radio outlet at the rear wall and two together (red) from? Also there is a wire to the Plus side of the coil, it is very dirty but it has a white st...

the pinz won't start

I was installing the winch this morning, finally. It works....but, now the pinz will not start. When I moved it to the center of the drive there was a small backfire, not anything that cought my attention more than usual. I was in the place at the drive where I had room to work with the doors open, ...

balancing carburetors

When I began the balancing exercise I pulled the connectors off one at a time to hear the click to see if they were operational. I will check to see if one has become disconnected. I have not rebuilt the carbs, is this going to be one of the steps I am going to have to take in this discovery process...

The only wire on the passanger side is the choke cable wire.
Pulled choke and it moves.
Perhaps I have a renegade set of carbs.

Help, This adventure is not doing well. Yesterday I balanced the carbs, adjusted the idle and set the links to what I thought was going to be ok. Went for a little test drive and it was beautiful. Today I went for a little ride and the idle is back up to fast. It idles fast enough to creep along at ...

balancing carburetors

There are a few conflicting opinions out there. I am surprised that Tony has been able to escape from the harrowing experience of dealing with the honeys at the 'Door' in Ocotillo Wells. Perhaps he told them that he was a government agent working for the Department of Redundancy Department. Thanks t...
