2 schools of thought. 1st school of thought: pull the trans and tear down for evaluation/rebuild. 2nd school of thought: If it ain't broke, don't fixit. Have you checked the adjustments of the linage. There is a blockout for reverse selection. I would suggest you unhook the linkage at the trans and ...

Wiring Diagram. for the winch or hook up? For hook up run the red/positive to the positive of the batteries. Run the black or negative to the chassis side of the battery cutoff switch. If you run the negative to the batteries you will defeat the cut off switch as the winch will complete the circuit....

I don't think you will find an equilivant. Unimogs used a foot pump. you can look at a 24v bus pump. Dennis at Linden got some in once and they weren't cheap. The 12v universal is inexpensive, but you need to have 12 volt supply. A convertor, battery equalizer. Or dare I suggest if this is all you w...

Depending on which style of retaining clip you hve you do the following. The way I do it is to: With one hand push down on the of the top of the pin while using the other hand to push up on the clip and slide it sideways. I reinstall the opposite way. Occasionally you will have to lift the tab on the clip over the end of the rod to remove it. When you get a clip off look...

3 steps I would try is: 1. with a very thin gauge wire or drill bit (.010 to .015 inch dia.) Gently probe the exit opening. The discharge is a ball that can be moved to adjust where the spray goes. Move it a little bit while probing. Try the washer and see if it sprays 2. A little compressed air in ...

Juergen, An overdue thank you. I think many of us know how much work you put into that site, this site and some of the other work you did in the name of pinzie owners. All unpaid. Will be good to see your site back up AT YOUR CONVENIENCE! Starting to build vacation time and want to get down to Arizo...

Hi Prof Pinz are You safe
Hope you and the Pinz aren't seeing the 117 degree temps around the fire. I got to talking to the Aussie kids at work and woke up and realized the fires are around you. Take care and keep both of you cool.

Good old EBAY
If you check further on Ebay in the Pinzgauer listings there is the way to solve the problem of not being able to get a TD in to America. There is a listing for New Vin plates from Great Brittan. There are 5 plates and all 5 are being bid on. I wonder if I stamped the plate with the vin for a 1990 C...
