How much winching are you going to do?????? Mostly starting (red top) mostly winching (yellow top). Several years ago the Interstate battery man told us about the drag racer who ran red tops and remember a 1/4 mile car has no alternator. After 1 season the batt was toast. He finally convinced the gu...

Thank you Jim and Andre
Thanks Jim LaGuardia and Andre for the info on the Red Bull Fuel injection throttle bodies. Hopefully the proper body is on order for them. Its back on the road till the new one gets here. Then send to the driver wherever he is and hopefully it's all good. Would have been nice if a manual/spec sheet...

What you find is that the choice of seat is like what cologne is the BEST??? It is very personal. I am running the CRX seats. I mounted on the stock seat mounting brackets. The driver side is ok at best. I am comfortable with overly reclined back, Linda hates it and must insert a pillow at the top. ...

Ok Dennis tell them about the Hummer!!!!! The one with the breathalizer. Yeah you have to hum and blow into a machine to start the Hummer (a Hummer start for your Hummer)!!   But anyway. What happens when you fill the fuel tank of a DIESEL hummer with gasoline. Then continue to dr...

Hey Jim A couple of my clients use Redline MT90 in their Pinz trannies, and the shift quality improved especially in colder weather. Tongue in Cheek, I'm told it never rains in Southern California (Does it snow?) How cold is cold? Here where it is cold, I better try that red line, maybe it will shif...

A Uniden/Radio Shack CB. According to the local ham radio repair shop the Uniden line sucks. There are daughter boards off the main circuit board. The solder joints crystalize in off oad use and then the solder cracks. They take them apart and resolder every joint. I had one that just quit and they ...

I have seen a lockable box that was made to ago long the side fenders of a truck installed in front of the seats in the rear. Some have gotten a large ammo box and mounted on the rear door then add a hasp to the latch on it. I have seen the Jerry can rack dropped a little and an ammo box installed i...

I'm a bit like John. There are a dozen bags of tube sand in the back of my 712 and then the chains are back there. Several years ago while running with the four wheel drive emargency assistance team I had no problem plowing thru bumper high stuff getting nurses, docs and emergency people to work. Ne...
