Steering wheel removal
I'm having one helluva time removing the steering wheel on my 710K. I could swear I've had it off at least once in the past, but this time it just won't budge. I've been using dead blow hammers, 2 and 3 jaw pullers and penetrating oil, all to no avail. I'm wondering if the application of some heat m...

Well, I've looked high & low for that light and simply cannot find it anywhere. I know I have it somewhere as its an item I would never have tossed. All I can find is the plug. Sorry

Re: Starter won't Start
Hey good news. So after playing and fiddling with the solenoid, including giving it a few whacks with a hammer, it is now working! Power applied in normal fashion and gear kicks out and spins up.
Will re-install in truck tomorrow and hope the lucky mojo sticks around.

Re: Starter won't Start
So it appears confirmed bad solenoid. I put voltage direct to starter and she spins up fine.

Re: Starter won't Start
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I put a meter on the +motor lug
and applied power to the solenoid relay screw. Gear gets thrown out,
but no voltage on motor terminal. Gonna take it in to an alternator shop
tomorrow. Free estimate.

Starter won't Start
As the subject line says, my 710K starter isn't working. When I pressed the start button, it was just a "click" So I took it off the truck to bench test. The solenoid kicks the gear out, but starter motor doesn't spin. Is there anything I can do to determine if it's something that can be f...

Re: Neil Armstrong movie
I was a good flick, but from a pilot's perspective, a lot of the flying scenes were WAY over
exaggerated! All the shaking, blurring and loud noises, etc. Not realistic at all.
It did however depict a good bio of Neil's life

Re: Portable light
There was a purpose built "trouble light" that was intended to go in that socket.
