Re: Hatch rattle fix?

I had a similar rattle but found it was due to an old stretched out rubber strap. The new one was about 2 inches shorter and after install, fixed the rattle.

Re: Pinzgauer Cargo/Kitchen/Bed Platform F/S

I agree, a very nice set up. Though not fitting my needs, I have admired it and wish you well with the sale. Looking forward to what the revision will look like.

Re: Left turn signal problem.

I am also having left turn signal problems though not electrical. Mine is a mechanical switch problem in that the lever just won't move downward. It is a hard stop. Last week, I was surprised when out of habit i moved the lever and it worked, but not since. Upward for the right signal is fine. I pla...

Re: Bed Liner -- Good or Bad?

I second the Bedrug. It is what I used and I am very happy with it. 3/4" thick foam with attached carpet material so helps sound level as well. You can buy it by the foot with a minimum of 10' I believe. I can't remember if it is 8 or 10 feet wide. it is easy to cut. I stuck mine down with velc...

Re: Custom door panels

That's a great idea. I just made new ones form hardboard and painted with SAV's spray paint. I will certainly consider this next time. How close is their OD green to Swiss green? There are so many OD greens.

Re: Gas Leaking When Filling

Is part 6 just a grommet type ring as the filler tube goes through the metal body? it would not play a role in preventing a fuel leak. Just throwing this out.

Re: Start-up smoke mitigation

I find this interesting but I have no smoke on start up. Yes, a very small amount of oil splatter on the very initial start up. Do others really find this to be a big problem? I frequently start it up for a few minutes in the garage if I am not routinely driving with out giving smoke any thought. I ...

Re: Airpod Pro (or other) for phone calls?

As reported in your other thread on comms, I use Sensear headsets model SM1x SR. Callers on the other end report that they do not hear the pinz while I am driving and using the phone. Pretty impressive. Certainly there may be better options but I am happy with them for now. I have not tried to use t...

Re: Pinzi SSI

My experience and knowledge base on this should probably prevent me from chiming in but I will anyway. I believe in the KISS principal and Ricks (Ron's) solution seems to fit that process for a seemingly low frequency (though critical fail) problem. However, one must consider that the original seale...
