I have heard of a few air cooled VW's and other flat tappet designs failing prematurely after rebuild with newer motor oils (lower Zinc /Phosphorus oils)...

1982 Pinz 710K. No rust anywhere, underneath is very clean, as is interior. Essentially original condition. Very happy!
