Niether connection apppears to be Pinz Original. I was also informed that turning it backwards (I don't know which direction that is) would break it to. Mine was inoperative when I acquired my 710K. Has an electric unit now.

The original knob is a knurled silver metal. Round with engraved criss-cross pattern on sides.
