Had a similar experience sometime back with my 710, turned key, pushed button, and it cranked and cranked. Gave it a few seconds and tried again, same result. Then I noticed the warning lights weren’t lighting up. Found that I hadn’t fully turned the key, turned the key all the way and presto, start...

You should have ~ 5 gallons left when the gage reaches "E", giving you 15 gallons before "E" + 5 gallons in reserve, not counting the jerry can.

Jim, I know speculation in camp was that the repair would be relatively simple, other than the bent sheet metal (that shouldn’t have been there), how extensive was the mechanical damage?

IMHO the Redbull Pinzgauers are not a good example of an off-road pinz build. They are severely over weight. The bumpers used front and rear limited approach and departure angles. The oversized tires increase the chance of tires binding in the wheel well. These trucks were built for advertizing not ...

Dave, I have a couple of complaints with the changes in the forum as it is going to screw with the way I had used with search function. I'll give you an example There are two treads in the Body & Interior section that really belong in the customization section IE E-trac and Baby seats. It would...

- Future Army motor Bronschhofen Park (AMP) It sounds like the local bureaucrats are making noise indicating that if the AMP is retired from use as (what I take to be) a military vehicle rehab facility, they, the local bureaucrats (aka political wind bags) want to obtain control of the facility to u...

I enjoy my 710k as an almost daily driver. That said I’m glad it’s not my only car. While it can be used on the interstate you will not stay up with most traffic. Air conditioning and adequate heat are not features shared by most Pinzgauers. Many people have a hard time getting in and out; my wife h...

You haven’t indicated what the roof is made of; your signature makes no mention what your top is on. 710? 712? K? M? I know I’m nitpicking however knowing if its canvas or steel could make a difference.

Re: paint considerations

Thinking about this spring, hard to paint in the snow. Painting in the snow really isn’t that difficult, my dad taught me how when I was about 5 years old. If I was quick I could write my name, of coarse the color palette was limited to yellow. I’ve been trying to decide on a colors for my 7...
