Stuck Distributor

Tried to adjust the timing today on the 710 I'm restoring. Loosened the distributor locking ring but can not get the dist to move. Tried soaking the joint with PB Blaster, waited a couple of hours and still no go. Tried some light to medium taps with a hammer in both directions and still won't move....

#3 is for the left low-beam headlight according to my schematic and #10 is for the idle cutoff solenoids. It's possible that your wiring setup is different or maybe it was changed by someone.

SAV carries them. Part #7111763352 and 7111763342. Expensive at $195.00 per door.

You might be able to find something suitable here : http://www.restorationspecialties.com/2 ... 0ebook.pdf

So I'll just be connecting the black/white wire to the black wire. Easy enough!

Thanks Jim. :)

4500 RPM Module

I'm in the middle of re-storing/re-building a '75 710M that had most of the electrical system ripped out by the previous owner. One of the many expensive items he discarded was the 4500rpm module. Since I'll be installing a VDO tach which I've had good luck with in the past, I'm not sure I really wa...

Thanks guys. Think I'll head out and get some DOT 3 later in the week.
It's -9F with a -25 wind chill . It can wait until a warmer day.

Brake Fluid

I'm about to flush, refill and bleed the brakes, clutch and lockers. Is there a "recommended" brake fluid or one that anyone prefers over another?
Or will just any DOT 4 product be ok?

Thanks,

Help!

Does anyone have a .pdf or .jpg file of the english wiring diagram from the repair manual?
I think this is the one Jim L. said is the most accurate. Jim, am I correct?

Thanks,

Paul

Very nice!

Did you use the 10mm thermocouples?

Where would I find Type K thermocouple wire to extend the leads?

Thanks,
Paul

Battery Charger

This new dual 12V charger looked interesting. It is supposed to be able to charge 24V systems that are set up with a pair of 12V batteries in series. http://helios.pulsetech.net/ppccat/img/1/100x200_pmi.jpg Info at- http://www.xclawngarden.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=X2 or http://www.pulsetec...
