I'm looking for a source for all 3 windscreen rubbers. Having to replace all the glass so want to fit new rubber seals. Anyone done this?

Yes, I agree with the ridigity issue. my plan is to have 2 new cross members, one either side of where the origional was. Here is my handbrake solution

The 300tdi/hp22/lt230 setup will fit without removing the vac reservoir, if you shorten it to the max. However it's so tight up against it you won't be able to remove the gearbox or trf box without removing the engine too. image.jpeg Here is the proof Ps.Why is removing the reservoir such a problem?

I've seen the old threads on bilstein 5150 and some references to procomp but these are quite old

Anyone had any good experiences recently?

Can anyone help provide the torque setting for the bolts that go through the bushes of the leaf springs and the spring hanger?

They are big bolts but I fear over tightening them and can't find the info in the manuals

If you do go down this route I've always thought if would be goo idea to put a grease nipple on the top. I drilled an old one and could not see why it could not be done. Not brave enough to do it on a brand new one though

Ok, worked out that the portal breaths through the axle as there is no tight seal between them. Another question for those that have done it before. Before I'd taken the drum off I had assumed the pipe somehow connected into the portal box. Given it does not, is the portal meant to have a breather?

Ah. Ok yes the drum seal is perished and all sorts of crap in with the pads.

Axle body is fine. Crud was just wheel carrier side. I'll wipe out what I can, fit the new boot then change the oil in the hub
