Back door rattle
My back door on my 712 M has a rattle when I run it down bumpy roads. It looks like the hinges have some wear on them. Has anyone come up with a fix on this other than replacing the hinges?

Pinz turnpike legal?
I was recently informed by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol the other day that you could not drive a Pinzgauer on the Oklahoma Turnpikes. Could we see some detailed pictures of the fabricated aluminum tank and how much would it cost to have one made. I kinda like the idea of getting rid of the jerrycan. It would also be neat if it could be made to allow for more ground clearance.

My 82 712m has a occasional problem of jumping out of second gear when I take off from a dead start. Is this a syncronizer problem or possibly a bent shifting fork. How difficult is it to pull the transmission on my Pinz. Have any of you guys experienced this on your Pinz's. Thanks for any input on ...

Thank you for the information. I opted to put mine on the passenger side at the back of the firewall below the air filter. I am down to the fuel pump part and the instructions say mount it below the heater at a 15 degree angle. There's no...
