24V Fan Motor

Stripping out various items on a Pinzgauer ambulance box. I have the complete roof top exhaust/intake fan assembly if anybody needs one. I can part it out or whatever. If there isn't any interest in the item I may just cannibalize the thing for the 24V motor and do something with it on the truck. No...

Re: Source needed for Tan Top

Tuff River Stuff is making tops again. Not sure what the wait list is like or if they are taking orders right now but I got lucky recently. Tan Tweed is the color.

A BIG thank you to Tim at Tuff River Stuff for making mine happen since we are on the subject.

I assume your Pinz is of Swiss Origin; they have one circuit for the front and one for the rear.

Out of curiosity, is the Austrian brake circuit different?

Re: Check in on my WINCH PAGE!

Yeah, Comeup is yet another in a long list of companies who make things seem like they are US made but are far from it. I kinda figured as much on the COMEUP winches but nice to get further validation from you VinceAtReal4x4s Thanks Overall I just don't want to sell myself short when I do get aroun...

Re: Check in on my WINCH PAGE!

Thanks for the reply rmel . Yeah.......winch sizing "rule of thumb" for my 712AMB does put me there at the 10-12K size. Pretty much why I was looking primarily at a 12K winch. And yep no surprise at the Taiwan build for the COMEUP winch. Better than China I suppose. Certainly not USA made ...

Re: Check in on my WINCH PAGE!

Good day. Thought I'd join this conversation if you don't mind since I have a few winch related questions and a comment on this thread. First.........awesome on the old school winch rebuilds VinceAtReal4x4s. Totally valid. Second............ditto on the Chinese junk comment. Poor Smittybilt. I remem...

Re: Voltage Regulator

Okay...……..………………..direct bolt up on the SAV part. A little lighter in weight than the original Bosch part but hey...it's 2020 right? My initial suspicion that the VR went bad was the 4500 rpm light came on. At low rpm. And I boiled off a touch at the battery. Put a meter on it and yep...……...high c...

Re: Aluminum Pinz Wheels question.

Looks to me like only a thin wall socket can get ahold of those lug nuts. Personally I like my original steel wheels. If I ever decide to upgrade though...……..I'd be looking at bead locked wheels. I'm sure I could scour this site to see what is available in that realm and what works for the Pinzgauer.

Okay...…….good to know...…….thx for your input.

I've got a small order for Sarah now. Including this regulator.

I'll post back on my findings with the new regulator.

Re: Questions - new to Pinzgauer - about to maybe purchase 710K

Thank you very much for all the valuable feedback. So yesterday I finalized my decision and purchased a 710M from Andre at Fat Fabrications. Just before completing purchase with Andre, he posted on his facebook someone else selling a 716; I called the owner and considered it, but realize as a first...

Thx for the quick reply on that...….. I'll snap a photo tomorrow of what I have. Soon I'll have to start posting pics of my ride anyway. It's turning out pretty sweet considering I do not have an air conditioned garage and unlimited funds. The factory Bosch has an aluminum backer and is secured to t...
