They are sort of a press-fit. I use a open end wrench that just slips over the arm behind the knob and tap it with a hammer and it usually slips right off, have fun,Mark

but never rigged up a framework to hoist the box off to look.
How about some good old fashion camper jacks with some form of quick releases? You could"drop camp" , go playing and not break any dishes. 8) Mark

How hard is it to swap the t-cases?I often think the lower gearing for a 710 would be a plus. The 712 with it's x-tra traction could get by off road with a 710 case and would make it more "roadable ". As I have one of each, and if it was not a real bother,I would like to experiment with some...

50-55 is no sweat ,it's a little easier on a 710 over a 712 but it still is not abusive to the truck. The driver is another matter! If I were to travel that far I think I would invest in a set of noise cancelling headphones, the constant noise level can be quite exhausting! Mark

In short I have to state, I smell the aroma of a certain green paper in supplyinjg, AND fixing it as it gets older. Sometimes I think we must remember that there is always a starting place for everything and anything for our trucks has the potential to be expensive, mostly due to the limited market....

It helps to find replacement seats that are equal to original cushion thickness. It is a real plus for seat selection if your under 6FT!     Ha! Ha! ! TTFN,Mark

A 712 has the rear diffs "stacked" so to speak, and the diff assemblies look the same..  ..Can an additional diff assy be added on to create an 8x8? Perhaps a 8x8 DK? I know steering would really suck, but I feel that would be the least of my problems! If my K doesn't f...
