I can't take any credit for the cage or plate,that was done by the previous owner.

Hoses and fittings $75
freon $30
pulley,$60
metal,belts,and incendentals Appx $200
keep in mind a lot of fabricating was done at no labor cost by me! 8)

Update,unless you were not in the water it was a pretty friggin warm day in AZ, I was quite comfortable in spite of the huge heat absorbtion from all that frontal tin....warm feet! :shock: I did notice a power loss on the hills but I was torn between "hurry(?) up and sweat" or "relax ...

You already know about the Pinz...The K sounds and drives like a VW bus,You already know the tippy thing,and maintenence is on par with the air-cooled VW. Big parts can be expensive,but I haven't had a need for anything more than the normal maintenence items unless tippy thing happens and even that ...

Seen no "adapters",I use the original bases and attach them to the replacement seats,they still come out pretty much like original. You must be comfortable with some "fabrication" 8) TTFN,Mark

As I started this topic I will give you'all my thoughts,as I'm a big spender I will give you my 10 cents worth... I did the gen-set and a RV roof a/c on my 710K,you will get what you pay for...I opted for a 3000is Honda,elect start-very quiet. Other gen-sets are cheaper(as much as 1/4 the price) but...
