Hey Mike....I still like your solution, and ultimately may end up going that route. I just still have not resolved the design yet, thinking about the poptop but would still like to have a functional exoskeleton. The aluminum foam sandwich is available pre fabricated in sheets, forget what it's calle...

I've been using CD-2 as well, easy to get and use. I vary the amount based on the condition I will be driving in, generally I use half a dose so I can store two bottles in my road kit and treat 25 -30 tankfulls. On a side note I also use Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer for the gas in my spare tanks, also av...

Anyone setup a 712 with a hard top on the rear only?

Looking for some solutions for a hard top for the rear only on a 712M. I have not had the chance to measure it out yet but the Diamler/Chrysler Spr...

If you have power at the Batteries, Starter lead, and Power to the ignition. You just have to keep working your way out from the batt's. Turn the ignition on and check the back leads for power.

The problem you guys are having with the resonator pipe is probably due to the fact that the system was designed around the Maloya Tires which are much thinner in cross section than the tires most of us are using.

Check out a place that sells horse saddles and see what they recommend. Here is two more ideas to mull over. The first link is like the VW Westfalia Camper poptops from 1980- mid 90's the late 90's to now the poptop is even more compact but will be harder to find cheap. The older ones can be found at junkyards for around $200.00 I don't know if you have ever seen the in...

ExecII poll

Who has not upgraded to ExecII Diff. How long have you owned your Pinz and how many miles have you put on. Any problems? Those that have changed over to ExecII was it because of a mechanical breakdown, or just because you were getting into the Diff for other reasons. Have you noticed a change? To up...
