NY has seen some temps in the teens and minus in the last few week. Lately however it's been between inthe 40s.

I'd like to add some oil.

The manual recommends SAE 30 but I wonder if 10W30 would do the trick? Any ideas?

Any recommendations on what would be a good engine heating pad to buy? By the way this attaches to the bottom of the oil pan and keeps oil and engine components warm as well

Question: There are two holes on each side (passenger and driver). One has rubber plug. The other hole is a nickle sizes hole. 1) Does the smaller hole a rubber plug as well ? 2) I just cleaned both the smaller holes which were filled with small pebbles and mud.
