Re: Plugs...

Thanks for the thoughts. I was just going on the basis of the military stuff being old technology and the civilian stuff at least the plugs being newer tech. I guess when in question refer to the most unread book in the world...the owners manual.

Plugs...

If you were running the civilian plugs (NGK)...how often would you change them? I normally change plugs on my carb vehicles every 10k-12k(miles that is). The plugs I just pulled out only have about 5k and look like they are worn out. The gap was fine. I just noticed a funny start-up and not as smoot...

Re: Fuel Pump Lubrication

The little plate that you remove in order to knock the shaft (guts) out...pack it full of grease when you are going back together with it. My pump was not causing pressure issues but was very noisy and after the rebuild and grease trick...silence! Good luck and you can do this without removing the p...

Re: Castor(Tire Wear)...

Thanks for the correction(castor/camber). That's what I thought. Within 3k miles I have noticed the tire wear and just wanted to make sure I wasn't mis'n something. Thanks!

Castor(Tire Wear)...

Do all Pinzy's(710) wear the outside of the tire alot more then the inside? Is there a way to set the castor. It is both front and rear...not just the front. Actually it seems to be more on the rear then the front. Stock rims and 285/75/16. Thanks in advance!

Re: Fuel Solenoids...

Did anyone ever find another place to buy the 24v solenoids besides the usual suspects?

Come on now...somebody has got to know! I'll mail ya a beer if you can tell me. The only reason I ask is that i want to make sure it will fit before i go and design everything around it.

Re: Idle Drop

What about the brake booster hose since it hooks right into the side of the front carb...? Just throw'n it out there!

Re: Fuel Solenoids...

Sorry, I haven't had time to even look at my truck this week. I'm sure these solenoids are all 12 or 6 volt Porsche or VW pieces. Perhaps someone could send them a failed solenoid to match up physically, then we could throw a resistor in-line to have a suitable and affordable replacement. I know of...

Can someone run out to their truck and read a part number off one?
Any luck...?
